COE was born out of the qualities and values that our organization’s Family Matriarch, Mary Robinson Harris, imparted in her community and family. We are dedicated to seeing her vision come alive and her legacy live on. Here at COE, we are committed to serving the needs of individuals locally and globally.
Center of Empowerment For Families & Youth, Inc. is dedicated to providing services to enrich the lives of our youth through advocacy and education.
To better serve our communities and our constituents, we collaborate with law enforcement, social services, and/or other community organizations to ensure that they receive the best services there is to offer. You will find that COE has a supportive community with a wealth of opportunities for personal growth and at-risk prevention. We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence- at every point in their life.
COE serves as an outreach for at-risk families and youth that helps them live functional lives and become more intentional in striving to achieve life goals while providing them the necessary resources in becoming productive and successful in various spheres of life. We are committed to embracing the many issues facing our future generation in a bid to help them thrive in a challenging society. We are passionate about utilizing a holistic approach and delivering innovative programs by "thinking like there is no box."

At Center of Empowerment for Families and Youth, Inc., our mission is to inspire, motivate, and empower underserved and at-risk families and youth with innovative and result oriented programs that have positive impacts and make huge differences in the lives of everyone within our reach.
We have an unwavering commitment to promoting and providing all-inclusive programs and utilizing a holistic approach that addresses the mental, physical, social, and spiritual needs of our constituents.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an inclusive environment that shapes the future of youth and families by facilitating self-actualization, maximizing their potential, and sharing our resources to enhance quality of life and create a positive impact on their lives.
Our broad array of vibrant programs are central to the impact of our youth, because the key facets of our mission- education, social skill development, & sportsmanship- comes together in ways that extend the reach and impact of everything we do. We invite our youth & their family to break barriers and be committed to creating a social change through dedication and leadership.
Through our quality programs and supportive workshops, we teach young people life and leadership skills by way of strong mentors and positive role models. Our goal is to ensure that we create a positive atmosphere that will lead them in the best direction to make sound educational plans and career goals.
